A refined resort-style residence transporting its occupiers to a mediterranean oasis, this interior design project by FREEMAN & CO, creates a relaxed and enviable lifestyle of simple luxury.

Integrating both the natural and cultural surroundings of the private villa’s harbourfront location with the FREEMAN & CO quintessential approach, the design exemplifies the meeting point of contemporary Mediterranean living and soft modernism. A collaboration with the project’s architects, Stafford Architecture, on our interventions, modifying the fine details and furniture and art proposals to enhance the spatial experience for the occupiers and optimise the flow of living spaces.

Weaving natural elements of the Mediterranean landscape, the design thoughtfully mirrors the greek peninsula natural colour palette, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside. Each space is marked by grecian travertine that characterises the counters in both public and private areas to the timbered elements in the villa and poolhouse, with nods to the interiors of the Ottoman era.

Volumes are balanced to enhance the interplay of light and shadow, while a carefully curated material palette introduces layers of texture—smooth stone, soft textiles, and natural finishes complementing one another without excess. Expansive living areas open to over-scaled outdoor spaces and an olympic size swimming pool embracing the essence of resort living.

Minimalist in its execution yet rich in detail, the project embodies understated luxury, where every element is intentional, and each space offers moments of relaxation of mind, body and soul.
